ABOUT ME

Music

I love writing about music and exploring our relationship with our favorite songs. I wrote my undergraduate thesis on how users’ relationship with music is changing as a result of the popularity of streaming services and wrote about up-and-coming NYC-based artists for the Deli Magazine.

I created an Instagram-based blog where I write hypothetical movie scenes to go with songs, and I created a quiz that would recommend an album to listen to based on the user’s mood, taste in coffee, and battery percentage, among other things. I also hosted a weekly radio show on New York University’s radio station, WNYU.

Stories

Whether it be the transportation and filtration system of New York City’s tap water or the history of soft drinks in Prague, I love hearing new stories and finding creative ways to share them. I’m a big podcast fan and enjoy learning new ways to expand the medium for different audiences.

Making, doing, and learning

I enjoy tackling projects I’m unfamiliar with by breaking down the difficult stuff and making it accessible. Whether I am working at a library shelving books, or on the floor of an interactive art museum, I approach my work with excitement and attention, always ready to learn something new.
